Position Overview

Florida Semiconductor Engine is seeking an experienced and highly organized Authorized Organizational Representative (AOR) to support the submission, administration, and compliance management of federal grants and sponsored projects, including awards from the National Science Foundation (NSF). The selected individual will serve as the organization’s designated administrative authority for federal proposal submissions and award management, ensuring institutional compliance with NSF policies, federal regulations, and sponsor requirements. 

Key Responsibilities

● Serve as the official Authorized Organizational Representative (AOR) for NSF and other federal grant submissions

● Review, certify, and formally submit grant proposals through Research.gov and related federal systems

● Ensure compliance with federal grant regulations, institutional certifications, and sponsor policies

● Manage award administration activities, including modifications, reporting coordination, and project changes

● Support organizational registrations and compliance requirements, including SAM.gov and Research.gov

● Coordinate with Principal Investigators (PIs), project staff, and leadership regarding sponsored project administration

● Advise on federal grant policies, proposal development procedures, and post-award requirements

 

Required Qualifications

● Demonstrated experience serving as an AOR, grants administrator, sponsored projects officer, or similar role

● Strong working knowledge of NSF proposal submission and award administration processes

● Experience with Research.gov, SAM.gov, and federal grants compliance systems

● Familiarity with federal regulations related to research administration, organizational certifications, and sponsored programs

● Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills

● Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously Preferred Qualifications

● Experience supporting universities, research centers, nonprofits, or innovation-focused organizations

● Knowledge of semiconductor, STEM, research, workforce, or technology-related grant programs

● Experience administering multi-partner or consortium-based federal awards Compensation Compensation will be commensurate with experience and engagement structure.
