Sponsored Projects Manager, Contracts (hybrid/remote)

Job Description:
This position is responsible for overseeing the administration of contracts for sponsored projects, including industry clinical trial agreements (CTAs), grant-related agreements, and other agreements. This role involves managing a team of contract professionals (officers and senior officers) to ensure efficient and compliant contract processing. This role will monitor and ensure that performance levels are met, handle complex items, and support the OSP Director on strategic and operational projects. Key responsibilities include negotiating and administering contracts, ensuring compliance with institutional and external regulations, and providing oversight of the contract administration process.
This position will work closely with the OSP Grants team to develop and improve processes for grant-related agreements (including subaward agreements), risk assessments, and subrecipient monitoring.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience leading teams and/or projects
- Experience in Microsoft Office
- Five (5) years of experience in clinical research, regulatory affairs, research finance
- Bachelor’s Degree in a clinical or life science field, business, or healthcare operations. A degree must be obtained through an accredited institution. Education is verified
- Eight (8) years of direct and relevant experience in a research, healthcare, academic, or industry setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience negotiating and administering a wide range of sponsored agreements, including industry clinical trial agreements (CTAs) and grant-related contracts.
- Knowledge of Uniform Guidance and experience in Subrecipient Monitoring compliance.
- Experience leading and mentoring teams, specifically with successfully leading remote or hybrid teams.
- Experience with sponsored projects management systems (e.g., Cayuse, Conga CLM)
