IRB Systems and Compliance Coordinator (7484BR)

Position Description:
Reporting to both the HIC Deputy Director and the Compliance Manager, and collaborating closely with the Education and Community Outreach Manager, this individual will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with University Human Research Protection Program (HRPP) and IRB policies and procedures related to research involving human subjects. Additional responsibilities include overseeing, testing and troubleshooting eIRB, an electronic system for tracking protocols, and coordinating and conducting training on this electronic tracking and submission system.


Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and three years of related experience which must include experience working in research compliance and experience with information technology business analysis. Alternatively, the qualified candidate will have experience in designing, programming or testing electronic applications or systems. Equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered. Also required: problem solving and analytical skills, ability to work successfully with senior academic professionals. Strongly preferred: experience with Coeus and GPAS, conflict of interest, the Belmont Report, FDA and OHRP regulations and other generally accepted human subjects research practices.
