Job Description |
The purpose of this position is to provide support to Ohio University faculty and staff in their pursuit of extramural funding. In doing so, this position will provide administrative pre- and non-financial post-award support to faculty at the department level across Ohio University. This position interfaces with multiple electronic systems to submit proposals, receive awards, and request modifications. The person in this position is expected to be a content expert and to provide competent advice to faculty and staff in interpreting sponsor guidelines, University policy and procedures, state and federal law, and industry best practices. |
Minimum Qualifications |
Minimum qualifications for this position should consist of the following: a Bachelor’s degree and two years of related work experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. |
Preferred Qualifications |
Preferred qualifications for this position are a Bachelor’s degree with at least two years of experience in proposal preparation, two years of experience in post award administration, two years of contracting experience, and a certification in research administration (CRA). |
