At the Stephenson Cancer Center, we have an exciting new job opportunity that could be right for you! The Lead Grant Coordinator will work as a part of the Stephenson Cancer Center’s Proposal Services Team. This position independently provides excellent professional support to SCC research faculty by coordinating grant application submissions, attending meetings, prioritizing tasks, distributing information, and acting as a liaison between the faculty and central offices for required university approvals. This position provides upper-level research program management duties and requires a deep understanding of research administration concepts, guidelines, and principles. The position will work closely with the Proposal Services Manager and the Director of Cancer Research and assist the team in achieving team goals and the SCC’s mission. This position will be located on the OUHSC campus with flexible hybrid and/or remote option possible for experienced candidates.
Working Conditions
Physical: Must be able to work in sitting position, use computer and answer telephone.
Environmental: Standard Office Work Environment.
Experience
Required: 60 months experience in grant proposal submission and/or research administration.
Education: Bachelor’s degree
Equivalent/Substitution: Will accept 48 months experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree for a total of 108 months experience.
