RESEARCH FINANCIAL ANALYST

Overview

Under the broad oversight of the Associate Dean for Fiscal Affairs, incumbent will be responsible for all pre-award and post-award grant management of awards within the Dean’s Office of the School of Medicine (SOM). This position will work directly with the Office of Research Services and Sponsored Projects on all grant related issues, and will maintain knowledge of and ensure adherence to all applicable policies, procedures and regulations as they apply to contracts and grants, both at the state and federal levels. Other responsibilities include administrative oversight of the Clinical and Translational Research Center operations; serving as a liaison for departments in the School of Medicine to assist faculty and staff with any questions or assistance needed in relation to grant submission and management; and working to streamline and centralize research cores. Incumbent will also participate in clinical trial management, to include serving as liaison with the Office of Research Services and Clinical Trials Office for the SOM, as well as serving as liaison for SOM clinical trials conducted through the LSU Healthcare Network.
