Grants and Contracts Analyst
Overview
Under general supervision of the Managing Director, Research & Sponsored Programs, the Grants and Contracts Analyst independently represents the University to sponsors in the preparation, delivery, and negotiation of complex contracts and proposals for funding, coordinating with administration, academic departments, colleges, and centers. The incumbent assists and informs faculty, staff, and administrators in proposal and budget preparation, as well as independently interprets and analyzes sponsor guidelines.
- Ensures compliance with all federal, state, local, and CSU system-wide laws and requirements, manages activities related to research integrity and intellectual property, and has administrative oversight of all campus Centers and Institutes.
- Provides guidance, information and services to administrators, faculty, and staff engaged in extramurally funded research, instruction, professional development and community service projects.
- Analyzes and develops complex budgets for accuracy as well as compliance with current University rates and Federal Uniform Guidance restrictions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
