The University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) is seeking a Sponsored Research Specialist for the Earth & Space Research Administration (ESRA). Reporting to the Financial Business Manager and working closely with UMBC staff, faculty, student and NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) sponsors, the incumbent will be responsible for financial management and reporting of research awards, including multi-institutional cooperative agreements, grants and contracts – monitoring all financial aspects of their assigned portfolio from pre-award through closeout.

This position may choose to work at either the UMBC Campus in Baltimore, MD or at NASA GSFC in Greenbelt, MD. Hybrid-telework schedule options may be available.
