The Research Administrator III/IV (RA) is a high-level career position which supports the faculty and lab personnel in the Division by providing support in grants management (Pre- and Post- Award), budget monitoring, regulatory administration, and general day-to-day operations of the program faculty. The grant portfolio is comprised of various sources of NIH, foundation, industry, professional society, internal pilot, subawards, and institutional support and includes regulated activities. This role is part of a team of Research Administrators and Administrative Coordinators which provides a network of peer resources and team environment. The specific portfolio will be determined once the candidate is selected and their aptitudes and preferences known.
This role can be hybrid remote or on-campus. The option of full remote may be considered during the interview process. Applicant must specify preference of on-campus, hybrid remote, or full remote during the application process. Full remote will need to be reviewed and approved by the Remote Work Administration Committee.
The Research Administrator III/IV (RA) is responsible for all pre-award and post- award operations for each faculty in their assigned portfolio. This includes completing nonscientific grant content and tasks, adherence to internal and external deadlines for grant/IRB/HR submissions, maintain and advise the PIs on management of the portfolio, and develop effective solutions to any issues that may arise. Management of portfolios to ensure for each grant awarded all policies and procedures are followed per the terms and conditions of the award and per institutional policy.
