Grant Administrator (Proposals)
Overview

The Grant Administrator (Proposals) is responsible for processing, reviewing and submitting proposals; review and/or creation of applicable budgets; review and evaluation of binding proposal terms and conditions ensuring conformance to Rensselaer policies and sponsor requirements.
Candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or related field, along with 2 years of experience working with sponsored research or another closely related field. Relevant combinations of education, training and experience may be considered in place of degree. While not required, candidates who have experience using Banner Finance or similar ERP system, and direct experience in research administration, contract administration, or in a higher education environment are especially preferred.
