Post-Award Grants Administrator

Focus your skills in award management and accounting! Northeastern University's College of Science is a fast growing and dynamic center of research activity. The Post-Award Grants Administrator will join a team that partners collaboratively with faculty principal investigators in successfully executing their sponsored awards and advancing research in their scientific disciplines.

Responsibilities include providing monthly account reports and balances; reviewing expenditures for compliance, resolving accounting issues, meeting with PIs regularly to monitor and review portfolios, facilitating annual effort certifications; preparing projections for awards, working to resolve errors, request extensions, and properly close project accounts within policy guidelines and time requirements.

A demonstrated ability to successfully partner with faculty and staff in a rigorous academic research environment is required. Bachelor’s Degree required with an accounting, business, or related major preferred. Candidate should have 1-3 years of professional work experience in higher education and/or financial management setting.
