IRB Administrator & Chief Compliance Officer for Research
The Department Research Administration at SUNY Upstate Medical University (Syracuse, NY) invites experienced applicants to apply.
The successful candidate will have strong critical thinking skills, management and team leadership abilities, and the capacity to develop and implement new policies and procedures in response to institutional needs and changing regulations among other pertinent skills.
Qualifications include Bachelor’s degree in a science discipline, and a minimum of five years of related experience to include experience overseeing human subject’s protection programs, IRB Administration, and institutional biosafety. Preferred qualifications include: licensed/registered (or eligible) Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant preferred but not required. Certified IRB Professional certification highly preferred.
