Overview
The City University of New York’s Office of Research seeks a solutions oriented senior leader to serve as University Executive Director for Research Integrity and Compliance to direct and manage the University’s research compliance programs and serve as the University liaison to the CUNY campuses on all compliance matters relating to responsible conduct of research, the Human Research Protection Program (HRPP), conflicts of interest in research, export controls, sponsored research compliance, laboratory animal welfare, research agreements and biosafety. The Director facilitates the interpretation and implementation of all U.S. Federal and New York State regulations governing human and animal subject research and has oversight for relevant training to support maintenance of these regulations. The University Executive Director for Research Integrity and Compliance will serve as a senior strategic advisor to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Research and lead the Research Integrity and Compliance division, which provides support to the CUNY research community. The Research Integrity and Compliance Director will acquire and communicate updates on new federal regulations and legislative issues and coordinate and support their implementation.
