Overview
The School of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Georgia Tech is located close to the heart of Atlanta and has programs leading to B.S. Chemistry, B.S. Biochemistry, M.S. and Ph.D degrees. Our mission encompasses chemical and biochemical education in a broad sense, generation of new knowledge and technology, and service to the scientific community and the public at large.
Grants Administrator Senior's responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Assisting faculty with pre-award proposal preparations and gramt submissions to include budgets, documentation, etc. Post-award management, particularly sub-award initiation and accounting. Acting in a customer service capacity with management, staff, GT Office of Sponsored Programs and GT Grants & Contracts Accounting regarding sponsored research grants and contracts issues. Provide advice and counsel to the School Chair, Director of Business Operations, Director of HR, and departmental staff regarding issues related to sponsored research plans, proposals and projects. Coordinate with faculty on deliverables and financial reports.
Research Administrators Certification Council (RACC) Certified Research Administrator (CRA) is required for this position
