$3,000 Sign on Bonus!/ Sr. Grant Administrator/ Full Time/ Days/ BWH/ Pathology

Overview

The Sr. Grants Administrator will interact and be a cohesive member of the Department of Pathology research finance team, collectively responsible for the financial management of over 200 active grant accounts at any given time, with annual direct costs of approximately $23 million.

Reporting to the Director, the Sr. Grants Administrator will independently 1) perform  a wide variety of accounting and other grant management activities to monitor research funds for a portfolio of research investigators in the Department requiring extensive knowledge of federal and non-federal guidelines as well as departmental and institutional policies and procedure, 2) provide direct pre-award assistance to Trainees, Fellows and new Jr. Faculty and 3) Acts as T32 Program Administrator working closely with the Program Director, NIH and institutional staff and trainees.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or accounting highly desirable; however, extensive financial/grant management experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
  • 3-5 years of relevant grant management experience, preferably in an academic department handling a large number of diverse grants.
