Marshfield Clinic Research Institute (MCRI) is the largest private medical research institute in Wisconsin. MCRI is the research division of Marshfield Clinic, an integrated multispecialty health care system with over 700 physicians and 50+ regional centers. Research conducted at Marshfield is recognized internationally for their contribution to genetics, influenza vaccine efficacy and numerous clinical specialty areas. MCRI consists of research centers in clinical research, agricultural health and safety, epidemiology,  precision medicine and cancer research. It also provides a range of support services for physician and scientist investigators, including biostatistics, sponsored programs, research publication and core laboratory support.

 

The Marshfield Clinic Research Institute (MCRI) Institutional Review Board (IRB) Administrator is responsible for administrative management, financial management, training and educational programming, human resource management, regulatory compliance, ethics and human subject protections requirements. The IRB Administrator manages the Institutional Review Board (IRB and Data/Material Transfer programs within the Office of Research Support Services (ORSS), reporting to the ORSS Director.

Requires:

  • Bachelor's degree in research, science, business, management, health or related field
  • Five years of experience working in Institutional Review Board (IRB) management, Laboratory or Human Research, Research Administration, or Research Compliance
  • Certified IRB Professional (CIP) awarded by the Council for Certification of IRB Professionals (CCIP) with two years of hire

Preferred:

  • Master's degree in research, science, business, management, health or related field
  • Certified IRB Professional (CIP) awarded by the Council for Certification of IRB Professionals (CCIP) within one year of hire
  • – OR – Certified Research Administrator (CRA) awarded by the Research Administrators Certification Council within one year of hire
  • – OR – Certified Healthcare Research Compliance (CHRC) awarded by the Compliance Certification Board within one year of hire
