Director of Contracts and Agreements

Overview

Virginia Tech is seeking a dynamic Director of Contracts and Agreements to serve as a critical and strategic leader of sponsored programs administration.  With over $530 million in annual research expenditures, including rapidly expanding research and innovation capabilities across fields like neuroscience, next-generation wireless communications, cybersecurity, autonomous systems, coastal resiliency, and space systems, Virginia Tech’s leading research enterprise is diverse, dynamic, and impactful.  The director will oversee a team of professionals responsible for negotiating and executing all contracts and agreements across the university with various external partners.  The director must be committed to an inclusive customer-service orientation to cultivate and maintain strong collaborative partnerships across diverse constituent groups to promote and enable sponsored-funding research programs. 

This critical position will be located on Virginia Tech’s main campus in Blacksburg, VA.
