Business Manager

Overview

The University of West Florida Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (RSP) is hiring a full-time Business Manager (123720) to support university efforts to establish, maintain, and close contracts and grants in the University accounting system. This includes grant matching funds required by 2 CFR 200 and assisting with the testing and implementation of the Banner Financial System updates as required.

The Business Manager requires a master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization with four years of appropriate experience or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and six years of appropriate experience; however, we prefer applicants have a master’s degree and five years of accounting experience, one-year of experience with an established accounting software program, and be a Certified Research Administrator (CRA).
