Subaward Specialist

Overview

The University of Arkansas is seeking a full-time Subaward Specialist which is the central point of contact and subject matter expert for all outgoing subawards and is responsible for subrecipient prequalification (risk assessment), issuance of subawards, receiving and approving invoices, monitoring, processing payments, and assist in FFATA reporting.  This position regularly works with faculty, research administrators and central staff at other institutions to ensure timely and compliant processing of subcontracts.

Qualifications:

Minimum:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education
  • At least one year of subaward experience
  • A basic understanding of subcontract compliance
  • An understanding of research administration principles

Preferable:

  • Subaward experience at an institution of higher education
  • Experience in high volume subaward management
