The College of Social Work of the Ohio State University invites applicants for a Grants Administrator position in the College of Social Work’s Research Office to focus on pre-award grants management services supporting all sponsored research in the college. The grants administrator will direct the proposal development for faculty in conjunction with OSP staff. This position will also assist faculty in the preparation of external grant proposals by identifying administrative requirements and sources of any required cost sharing, reviewing program guidelines and determining staffing requirements, evaluating costs, expenditures and preparing fiscal projections for use in budget determinations.

Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency with computer software applications including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience in grants budgeting
Desired:
- Knowledge of university processes and applications
- Experience with Office of Research and OSP policies, rules and regulations
- Experience in a higher education setting working with project administration
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail, accuracy and deadlines
- Experience with federal acquisition rules and uniform guidance
